SPT News, Kolkata, June 10: The Bengal Tourism Fest or BTF, popularly known as Tourism Fair 2022, started from today at the Khudiram Practice Center adjacent to Netaji Indoor in Kolkata. The Association of Tourism Service Providers of Bengal is the main organizer of this tourism fair. More than 100 tour operators and tourism companies have participated in the 6th Tourism Fair. However, the most significant participation is from West Bengal Tourism. BTF convener Samar Ghosh said, “The best news for us is to take part in our state tourism.” They have recognized our tourism fair. All the participating states have already agreed in one sentence that the tourists of Bengal are their main hope.

Tamil Nadu is also advancing in tourism
Speaking about the inaugural function of the day, the tourism officials spoke about the tourists of Bengal. Tamil Nadu official K Elangovan said the country’s tourism industry has revived after the Corona situation. Tamil Nadu is also advancing in tourism. With all the logistics of tourism, Tamil Nadu is now ready to welcome tourists. We think this trend will increase in the Pujo season. However, the tourists of Bengal will play a big role in this. Because, so far this year, most of the people who have traveled to Tamil Nadu from all over the country have come from this Bengal. So our trust in Bengal is very fast.
‘Bengal’s guest tourists are special guests for Rajasthan’
The same tune was heard in the words of Rajasthan Tourism official Hinglaj Don Ratnu. He said that the guest tourists of Bengal are special guests for Rajasthan, most of the Indian tourists are domestic tourists. Referring to the soil of Bengal, he said that the tourists who fulfill the definition of a tourist in the true sense of the word are Bengal, the guest tourists of Bengal take pictures of every monument of Rajasthan in their camera. Our sincere efforts are to rejuvenate tourism by overcoming all obstacles and giving a new impetus to the industry. Bengal Tourism Fest (BTF) is continuing its efforts and playing a key role in reviving the Travel Trade. The Association of Tourism Service Providers of Bengal (ATSPB) has organized the 6th Bengal Tourism Fest from 10 to 12 June 2022 at Khudiram Practice Center, Kolkata.
The goal of the tourism fair
- With a motive of no profit no loss to provide an opportunity for the participation of the grass root level and Bengal based tour operators.
- Showcasing Bengal with other state tourism departments.
The primary purpose
- To develop a relation between tour operators and tourists.
- To promote Home stays in BENGAL.
- To promote Self-help Groups.
- To provide the Platform to other state tourism organisations as they will get the benefit of showing us their products.
In all respects, this year’s tourism fair 2022 is frozen on the opening day. Organizers expect that the number of tourists will increase in the next two days. At the same time they will be able to adjust the travel tour plan.
