এসপিটি নিউজ, কলকাতা ও নয়াদিল্লি, ১৭ অক্টোবর: শীতের ছুটিতে ভুটান বেড়াতে যাওয়ার পরিকল্পনা করছেন? পর্যটকদের জন্য বিশেষ সুযোগ নিয়ে এসেছে ভুটানের রাজকীয় বিমান সংস্থা ড্রুক এয়ার। দক্ষিণ এশীয় আঞ্চলিক সহযোগিতা সংস্থার সদস্য দেশগুলির নাগরিকদের জন্য বিমানভাড়ায় ১৫ শতাংশ ছাড়ের ঘোষণা করেছে সংস্থাটি। শীতের মরসুমে ভুটান ভ্রমণকে আরও আকর্ষণীয় করে তুলতে এবং যাত্রীদের খরচ কিছুটা কমাতেই এই উদ্যোগ।
প্রকাশিত বিজ্ঞপ্তি অনুযায়ী, ভারতের দিল্লি, বাগডোগরা এবং গুয়াহাটি থেকে ভুটানের বিমান যোগাযোগের ক্ষেত্রে এই বিশেষ ছাড় প্রযোজ্য। ফলে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের উত্তরাঞ্চল-সহ উত্তর-পূর্ব ভারতের পর্যটকদের জন্য এই সুযোগ বিশেষভাবে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। বিশেষ করে বাগডোগরা বিমানবন্দর ব্যবহার করে যাঁরা ভুটান যাওয়ার পরিকল্পনা করছেন, তাঁদের কাছে এই ছাড় বাড়তি সুবিধা এনে দিতে পারে।

সংস্থার ভারতের টিকিট বিক্রয় প্রতিনিধি, অনুমোদিত কার্যালয় অথবা নিজস্ব টিকিট সংরক্ষণ ব্যবস্থার মাধ্যমে এই ছাড়ের বিষয়ে খোঁজ নেওয়া যাবে। তবে টিকিট কাটার আগে নির্দিষ্ট উড়ান, আসনের প্রাপ্যতা, ছাড়ের শর্ত এবং চূড়ান্ত ভাড়া যাচাই করে নেওয়া উচিত।

Drukair Announces 15% Winter Fare Discount for SAARC Nationals on Select India Routes
SPT NEWS, Kolkata, 17 October: Bhutan’s national airline, Drukair, has announced a special 15% discount on airfares for citizens of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) member countries, offering travellers an opportunity to plan a winter holiday in Bhutan at a reduced cost.
The promotional offer covers selected flights connecting Bhutan with New Delhi, Bagdogra and Guwahati, according to the announcement. The initiative could be particularly attractive to travellers from northern West Bengal and the northeastern states, where Bagdogra and Guwahati serve as important gateways for regional air travel.
Eligible passengers must book their tickets between October 13 and November 15, 2026, to avail themselves of the offer.
