এসপিটি নিউজ, কলকাতা, ১৭ অক্টোবর: দেশের বিভিন্ন শহরের মধ্যে বিমান যোগাযোগ আরও উন্নত করতে একাধিক নতুন সরাসরি উড়ান চালুর ঘোষণা করেছে আকাশা এয়ার। দিল্লি থেকে বিশাখাপত্তনম, মুম্বই ও বেঙ্গালুরু থেকে জয়পুর এবং বেঙ্গালুরু ও গোয়া থেকে চণ্ডীগড়ের সঙ্গে বিমান যোগাযোগের পাশাপাশি উদয়পুরের সঙ্গে মুম্বই, বেঙ্গালুরু ও নবি মুম্বইয়ের সরাসরি উড়ান পরিষেবাও চালু করা হয়েছে।
সংস্থার প্রকাশিত সূচি অনুযায়ী, দিল্লি থেকে বিশাখাপত্তনমের দৈনিক সরাসরি উড়ান ২৫ অক্টোবর ২০২৬ থেকে শুরু হওয়ার কথা। অন্যদিকে, মুম্বই ও বেঙ্গালুরু থেকে জয়পুরের সরাসরি উড়ান পরিষেবাও চালু হয়েছে। এর ফলে দেশের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পর্যটনকেন্দ্রগুলিতে যাতায়াত আরও সহজ হবে বলে আশা করা হচ্ছে।
উদয়পুরের সঙ্গে বিমান যোগাযোগ বাড়ানোর ক্ষেত্রেও উদ্যোগী হয়েছে সংস্থাটি। মুম্বই থেকে উদয়পুর এবং উদয়পুর থেকে মুম্বইয়ের সরাসরি উড়ান ১৫ অক্টোবর থেকে চালু হয়েছে। বেঙ্গালুরু থেকে উদয়পুর এবং উদয়পুর থেকে বেঙ্গালুরুর উড়ানও একই দিনে শুরু হয়েছে। এ ছাড়া নবি মুম্বই ও উদয়পুরের মধ্যে সরাসরি বিমান পরিষেবা ১০ নভেম্বর থেকে চালুর সূচি প্রকাশ করা হয়েছে।
অন্যদিকে, বেঙ্গালুরু ও গোয়া থেকে চণ্ডীগড়ের সরাসরি উড়ান পরিষেবা ১ ডিসেম্বর ২০২৬ থেকে শুরু করার কথা জানিয়েছে সংস্থাটি। প্রকাশিত সূচি অনুযায়ী, বেঙ্গালুরু থেকে চণ্ডীগড়ের উড়ান সপ্তাহের নির্দিষ্ট দিনে চলবে। পাশাপাশি চণ্ডীগড় থেকে বেঙ্গালুরু এবং গোয়ার সঙ্গে চণ্ডীগড়ের সরাসরি বিমান যোগাযোগও চালু হবে।
বিমান পরিষেবার এই সম্প্রসারণে পর্যটক, ব্যবসায়ী এবং কর্মসূত্রে যাতায়াতকারী মানুষের সুবিধা বাড়বে বলে মনে করা হচ্ছে। বিশেষ করে জয়পুর, উদয়পুর, গোয়া, চণ্ডীগড় ও বিশাখাপত্তনমের মতো গুরুত্বপূর্ণ গন্তব্যে সরাসরি যাতায়াতের সুযোগ বাড়লে পর্যটন শিল্পের পাশাপাশি সংশ্লিষ্ট এলাকার হোটেল, পরিবহণ ও অন্যান্য পরিষেবা ক্ষেত্রেও ইতিবাচক প্রভাব পড়তে পারে।

Akasa Air Expands Domestic Network with New Direct Flights to Key Indian Cities
SPT NEWS,, New Delhi, 17 Oxctober: Akasa Air is expanding its domestic network with new and additional direct flight services connecting major Indian cities and popular tourist destinations, including Visakhapatnam, Jaipur, Udaipur and Chandigarh.
According to the flight schedules released by the airline, daily direct flights between Delhi and Visakhapatnam are scheduled to commence on October 25, 2026. The move is expected to improve air connectivity between the national capital and the coastal city of Andhra Pradesh.
The airline has also introduced direct flights connecting Mumbai and Bengaluru with Jaipur, one of India’s leading heritage and tourism destinations. The additional services are expected to provide greater convenience for leisure travellers, business passengers and those visiting Rajasthan’s historic attractions.
Akasa Air has further expanded connectivity to Udaipur, the popular lakeside destination in Rajasthan. Direct flights connecting Mumbai and Bengaluru with Udaipur commenced on October 15, 2026, according to the published schedule. Services between Navi Mumbai and Udaipur are scheduled to begin on November 10, 2026.
In another development, the airline plans to introduce direct flights connecting Bengaluru and Goa with Chandigarh from December 1, 2026. The published schedule includes services between Bengaluru and Chandigarh, as well as flights linking Goa and Chandigarh. These connections are expected to offer passengers more convenient travel options between southern, western and northern India.
The expansion is likely to benefit the tourism and hospitality sectors by making several popular destinations more accessible. Improved direct connectivity can help travellers save time, support business travel and create opportunities for hotels, local transport operators and tourism service providers.
Jaipur and Udaipur are renowned for their royal heritage, architecture and cultural attractions, while Goa remains a major leisure destination.
