এসপিটি নিউজ, কলকাতা, ২৩ জুলাই :  আজ ২৩ জুলাই গোটা বিশ্বের নানা প্রান্তে একাধিক ভ্রমণ ও পর্যটন সংক্রান্ত খবর হয়ে চলেছে। তার মধ্যে বাছাই করা সেরা ভ্রমণ ও পর্যটনের খবর সংবাদ প্রভাকর টাইমস তুলে ধরার চেষ্টা করছে। আমরা সর্বপ্রথম পশ্চিমবঙ্গ , পরে ভারত এবং একেবারে শেষে বিশ্বের সেরা ভ্রমণ ও পর্যটন বিষয়ক খবর তুলে ধরছি।

প্রথমেই আসি পশ্চিমবঙ্গে। সেখানকার বাছাই করা কয়েকটি খবর-

• হোটেলিয়ার ইন্ডিয়া ম্যাগাজিন সূত্রের খবপ্রে প্রকাশ, ইন্ডিয়ান হোটেলস কোম্পানি (IHCL) এবং অম্বুজা নিওটিয়া গ্রুপের মধ্যে একটি বড় চুক্তি স্বাক্ষরিত হয়েছে। এই চুক্তির ফলে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ, সিকিম এবং হিমাচল প্রদেশে ১৫টি নতুন হোটেল তৈরি হবে, যার মধ্যে দার্জিলিংয়ে তাজ রিসোর্ট, সুন্দরবন, শিমলা এবং রাবং-এ তাজ ব্র্যান্ডের হোটেল, এবং কলকাতা ও শিলিগুড়িতে সেলেক্টন্স হোটেল ও লাটাগুড়িতে ট্রি অফ লাইফ অন্তর্ভুক্ত। এটি পূর্ব ও উত্তর-পূর্ব ভারতের পর্যটন শিল্পে এক নতুন দিগন্ত উন্মোচন করবে বলে আশা করা হচ্ছে।
• দিঘার জগন্নাথ মন্দিরের জনপ্রিয়তা বৃদ্ধি: দিঘায় সম্প্রতি উদ্বোধন হওয়া জগন্নাথ মন্দির পর্যটকদের কাছে অত্যন্ত জনপ্রিয় হয়ে উঠেছে। রথযাত্রা উপলক্ষে এই মন্দিরে প্রচুর ভিড় দেখা গেছে, যা দিঘার স্থানীয় অর্থনীতিতে ইতিবাচক প্রভাব ফেলেছে। হোটেল ব্যবসা এবং গণপরিবহন খাতে রেকর্ড পরিমাণ আয় হয়েছে।
• পশ্চিমবঙ্গ পর্যটন উন্নয়ন কর্পোরেশন (WBTDC) দুটি নতুন ট্যুর প্যাকেজ চালু করেছে – একটি কলকাতার জন্য ‘নিউ সিটি ট্যুর’ (নিকো পার্ক, আর্টস একর, মাদার’স ওয়াক্স মিউজিয়াম এবং ইকো পার্ক সহ) এবং অন্যটি ডুয়ার্স অঞ্চলের জন্য (জলদাপাড়া, গরুমারা, বক্সা ও কুচবিহার সহ)।
• দার্জিলিংয়ের টাইগার হিলের ভিড় এড়াতে কালিম্পংয়ের নিওরা ভ্যালি ন্যাশনাল পার্কে র্যাচেলা ডান্ডা নামে একটি নতুন পর্যটন কেন্দ্র গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে। এটি কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা সহ হিমালয়ের মনোরম দৃশ্য দেখার সুযোগ করে দেবে।
• পশ্চিমবঙ্গের পর্যটন খাত প্রতিনিয়ত নতুন নতুন গন্তব্য এবং পরিষেবা নিয়ে আসছে, যা পর্যটকদের জন্য আরও বেশি সুযোগ তৈরি করছে।

এরপর আসি ভারতের সেরা ভ্রমণ ও পর্যটনের খবরে-

• কেরালায় কোচির জেলা প্রশাসন পাম্পাকুডা বিধানসভা কেন্দ্রের আরিক্কালকে একটি পর্যটন কেন্দ্রে পরিণত করার সম্ভাবনা খতিয়ে দেখছে। এখানে একটি গ্লাস ব্রিজ এবং জিপলাইন তৈরির পরিকল্পনা রয়েছে। আরিক্কাল জলপ্রপাতটি বর্তমানে অন্যান্য জেলা এবং প্রতিবেশী রাজ্যগুলি থেকে অনেক পর্যটকদের আকর্ষণ করে। কর্তৃপক্ষ এই অঞ্চলের পরিকাঠামো এবং অন্যান্য সুযোগ-সুবিধা উন্নত করার জন্য পদক্ষেপ নিয়েছে।
• ভারতে পাসপোর্ট প্রক্রিয়া সহজ ও দ্রুত করতে ই-পাসপোর্ট চালু করা হচ্ছে। এতে আরএফআইডি চিপ থাকবে, যা ব্যক্তিগত বিবরণ এবং বায়োমেট্রিক তথ্য সুরক্ষিতভাবে সংরক্ষণ করবে। এছাড়াও, ভারতের ভ্রমণ শিল্পে ডিজিটাল রূপান্তর ঘটছে, যেখানে মোবাইল-ফার্স্ট বুকিং, ইউপিআই ইন্টিগ্রেশন এবং এআই-চালিত ব্যক্তিগতকরণ এখন ভ্রমণের পরিকল্পনা ও বুকিংকে নতুন রূপ দিচ্ছে। আধুনিক ভারতীয় ভ্রমণকারীদের ক্রমবর্ধমান প্রত্যাশা পূরণের জন্য প্রযুক্তি-চালিত সমাধানের দিকে দ্রুত এগোচ্ছে ভারত।

• ত্রিপুরার মুখ্যমন্ত্রী অধ্যাপক (ড.) মানিক সাহা উদয়পুরের মাতাবাড়ির বনদুয়ারে বিশ্ববিখ্যাত আধ্যাত্মিক পর্যটন কেন্দ্র ৫১ শক্তিপীঠ পার্কের ভিত্তিপ্রস্তর স্থাপন করেছেন। এই পার্কে ৫১টি শক্তিপীঠের প্রতিরূপ থাকবে, যা দেশ-বিদেশের ভক্তপ্রাণ মানুষকে আকর্ষণ করবে। এর মাধ্যমে রাজ্যের পর্যটন শিল্পের বিকাশ এবং আর্থ-সামাজিক মানোন্নয়ন হবে বলে আশা করা হচ্ছে।

• ২০২৫ সালে বিশ্বব্যাপী বিজনেস ট্রাভেল বাবদ খরচ $1.57 ট্রিলিয়নে পৌঁছাতে পারে, যা একটি নতুন ঐতিহাসিক রেকর্ড। মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্র এবং চীন এই খাতের শীর্ষ দুটি বাজার হিসেবে থাকছে।
• ডিজিটার ট্র্যাভেল প্ল্যাটফর্ম Agoda-এর তথ্য অনুযায়ী, ২০২৫ সালের প্রথমার্ধে এশিয়ার শীর্ষ পাঁচটি সর্বাধিক বুক করা শহর হলো টোকিও, ব্যাংকক, ওসাকা, সিউল এবং কুয়ালালামপুর।

• A major agreement has been signed between Hotelier India Magazine Sutra’s Khabpre Prakash, Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) and Ambuja Neotia Group. As a result of this agreement, 15 new hotels will be built in West Bengal, Sikkim and Himachal Pradesh, including Taj Resort in Darjeeling, Taj brand hotels in Sundarbans, Shimla and Rabong, and Selectons Hotel in Kolkata and Siliguri and Tree of Life in Lataguri. This is expected to open a new horizon in the tourism industry of East and North-East India.
• Digha Jagannath Temple gains popularity: The recently inaugurated Jagannath Temple in Digha has become very popular among tourists. The temple sees huge crowds during the Rath Yatra, which has had a positive impact on the local economy of Digha. The hotel business and public transport sector have seen record revenue.
• The West Bengal Tourism Development Corporation (WBTDC) has launched two new tour packages – one for Kolkata, the ‘New City Tour’ (including Niko Park, Arts Acre, Mother’s Wax Museum and Eco Park) and the other for the Dooars region (including Jaldapara, Gorumara, Buxa and Cooch Behar).
• To avoid the crowds at Tiger Hill in Darjeeling, a new tourist destination called Rachela Danda is being developed in Kalimpong’s Neora Valley National Park. It will offer a panoramic view of the Himalayas, including Kanchenjunga.
• The tourism sector in West Bengal is constantly coming up with new destinations and services, which are creating more opportunities for tourists.

• The district administration of Kochi in Kerala is exploring the possibility of turning Arikkal in Pampakoda assembly constituency into a tourist destination. There are plans to build a glass bridge and a zipline here. Arikkal waterfalls currently attract many tourists from other districts and neighboring states. The authorities have taken steps to improve the infrastructure and other amenities in the area.
• To make the passport process easier and faster in India, e-passport is being introduced. It will have an RFID chip, which will securely store personal details and biometric information. Also, India’s travel industry is undergoing a digital transformation, where mobile-first booking, UPI integration and AI-driven personalization are now reshaping travel planning and booking. India is rapidly moving towards technology-driven solutions to meet the growing expectations of the modern Indian traveler.
• The 11th edition of the Malabar River Festival, which was scheduled to begin on Thursday (July 24, 2025), will start a day late and will be held on a limited scale without any festivities in honour of former Chief Minister V.S. Achyuthanandan.
• Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha has laid the foundation stone of the world-famous spiritual tourism destination 51 Shakti Peeth Park at Banduar in Matabari, Udaipur. The park will have replicas of 51 Shakti Peeths, which will attract devotees from across the country and abroad. This is expected to boost the state’s tourism industry and socio-economic development.

• Global business travel expenditure is expected to touch $1.57 trillion in 2025, a new historical record. The US and China are the top two markets in this sector.
• According to data from digital travel platform Agoda, the top five most booked cities in Asia in the first half of 2025 were Tokyo, Bangkok, Osaka, Seoul and Kuala Lumpur.
• Germany’s tourism sector is expected to set a new record in 2025, contributing €499 billion to GDP and creating 6.5 million jobs.
• A partnership between the Caribbean Tourism Organization and Conservation International is focusing on sustainable tourism, with the aim of strengthening local economies and providing eco-friendly solutions.
• India will reintroduce tourist visas for Chinese citizens after five years from July 24.
