Air Arabia comes to Kolkata. As a result, this is a good news for the people of Kolkata. They started their first flight from Kolkata to Abu Dhabi on Wednesday. This historic moment was witnessed by the eastern chiefs of TAFI, TAAI and SKAL.
Air Arabia is using Airbus 320 in their service. The total number of seats in this Airbus is 174. On this day, 174 seats were filled. The representatives of Air Arabia were excited about such an unprecedented response on the first day. The official of Air Arabia, Director of Netaji International Subhash Chandra Bose Airport, General Manager and other officials were present at the event. Travel Agents Federation of India Chairman (East) Mr. Anil Punjabi, Travel Agents Association of India East Chairman Mr. Manav Soni and SKAL President Amin Asghar were also present.
It has been informed by Air Arabia that their flights will operate from Kolkata three days a week. This is the first time they have launched flight services from Kolkata. Air Arabia flights will fly from Kolkata to Abu Dhabi on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
On Wednesday, March 15, 2023, Air Arabia’s first flight to Abu Dhabi took off at 9:10 PM. The flight is scheduled to arrive in Abu Dhabi at 1:11 PM. Similarly, the flight from Abu Dhabi will depart for Kolkata at around 2 pm. Will arrive at 8:20 PM.
Mr. Anil Punjabi, Chairman (Eastern Region) of TAFI told SPT – such a big airline like Air Arabia started their service from Kolkata. I feel privileged to be present at the airport at that historic moment. The launch of this aircraft will be very beneficial for the people of Kolkata.
