Flightradar24 জানিয়েছে, জুলাই মাসজুড়ে প্রতিদিনই আকাশে বিপুল সংখ্যক বিমান চলাচল করেছে। বিশেষ করে ইউরোপের গ্রীষ্মকালীন ছুটির মৌসুম, উত্তর আমেরিকার অভ্যন্তরীণ ভ্রমণ এবং এশিয়া-প্রশান্ত মহাসাগরীয় অঞ্চলে আন্তর্জাতিক রুট পুনরায় সম্প্রসারণের ফলে বৈশ্বিক আকাশপথে নজিরবিহীন ব্যস্ততা তৈরি হয়েছে।

পর্যটন শিল্প সংশ্লিষ্টদের মতে, বৈশ্বিক আকাশপথে এই রেকর্ড ট্রাফিক আন্তর্জাতিক পর্যটনের জন্য অত্যন্ত ইতিবাচক বার্তা বহন করছে। উন্নত সংযোগ, অধিক ফ্লাইট এবং বাড়তে থাকা যাত্রী চাহিদা আগামী মাসগুলোতেও বিশ্ব পর্যটন ও বিমান পরিবহন খাতের প্রবৃদ্ধিকে আরও শক্তিশালী করবে বলে আশা করা হচ্ছে।

Global Commercial Flight Traffic Hits Record High as More Than 153,000 Flights Tracked in a Single Day

Global commercial aviation reached a new milestone in July 2026, with more than 153,000 commercial flights tracked in a single day, marking the highest daily traffic ever recorded by flight-tracking platform Flightradar24.
The record underscores the continued recovery and expansion of the global aviation industry as international travel demand strengthens across major markets. The surge was driven by robust passenger volumes during the Northern Hemisphere’s summer travel season, increasing business travel and continued growth in tourism.
According to Flightradar24, July was its busiest month on record, with sustained high levels of air traffic observed across Europe, North America, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region. The platform, which monitors aircraft movements in real time using ADS-B and other surveillance data, said the milestone reflects the growing scale of global commercial aviation.
Industry analysts said airlines have continued to expand capacity by restoring international routes, increasing flight frequencies and introducing new-generation fuel-efficient aircraft to meet rising passenger demand. Europe’s peak holiday season, strong domestic travel in North America and the continued reopening and expansion of Asian markets all contributed to the increase in flight activity.
The latest figures also reinforce forecasts from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), which expects global passenger traffic to continue growing through 2026, with the Asia-Pacific region remaining one of the fastest-growing aviation markets worldwide.
Despite the strong recovery, airlines continue to face operational challenges, including elevated jet fuel prices, delays in aircraft and engine deliveries, supply-chain constraints and airspace disruptions linked to geopolitical tensions in parts of the world. Several carriers have also adjusted flight paths on selected long-haul routes to avoid conflict zones, resulting in longer journey times and higher operating costs.
Nevertheless, demand for both leisure and business travel has remained resilient, supporting airline revenues and encouraging further network expansion. Aircraft manufacturers and airport operators have also reported continued investment in fleet modernization and infrastructure to accommodate rising passenger volumes.
The record daily flight count highlights not only the aviation sector’s recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic but also the industry’s transition into a new phase of sustained growth. With international connectivity continuing to improve and travel demand remaining strong, industry observers expect global air traffic to remain at historically high levels through the remainder of 2026.
