SPT News, Kolkata, April 18: Royal Thai Consulate General of Kolkata Ms. Acharapan Yavaprapas. Speaking as the chief guest at Dusit Hotels & Resorts’ India Showcase 2023 event yesterday, she announced that the Amazing Thailand festival has been organized by Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), New Delhi and Royal Thai Consulate Kolkata on May 12-14 at South City Mall in Kolkata.
Thai Consulate General of Kolkata Ms. Acharapan Yavaprapas was the chief guest at Dusit Hotels & Resorts India Showcase 2023. Speaking as the chief guest at the function held at the ballroom of the Oberoi Grand in Kolkata, she spoke about Thailand tourism.
Thailand recently received the Best Tourism Destination Award. Giving this news, she said – India is a big market for Thailand at the moment. Many people traveled from India in 2022. Then she gave the good news.
Royal Thai Consulate General announced standing on the stage of the event – TAT New Delhi and Royal Thai Consulate are organizing the Amazing Thailand Festival on May 12-14 at South City Mall in Kolkata. The objective of this festival is to share and present the experience of Thailand with the people of Kolkata. There are many things besides fun, food, culture, fashion. Visitors will get an idea about Thailand when they come there.
For those who have not been to Thailand yet, this Amazing Thailand Festival is expected to become quite significant.
Dusit Thani is a large hotel brand. They have 50 properties in 13 countries. In 2017, Dusit Thani, Abu Dhabi received the Best Luxury Hotel Award in Middle-East Asia. New Delhi received the South Asian Travel Award. Dusit Thani received the Maldives Best Hotel Award in 2022.
Mr. Rakesh Bhandari, Director of Global Sales of Dusit Hotels and Resorts, conducted the program of the day. He presented the information of some hotels and resorts through video clippings. The program began with a speech by Vice President Mr. Nichlas John Maratos. He highlighted the best aspects of the Dusit Thani brand on the day. At the same time, he appreciated the presence of Indians in his visit to Thailand.
Dusit is expanding its hotels and resorts around the world, Maratos said. He also pointed out where hotels are going to be built in the future. The vice president of Dusit Thani said that there are big plans for India as well.
