SPT News: Another flight service is going to be launched on the Kolkata-Abu Dhabi route. This self-owned airline called Air Arabia is going to start its new service from March 15. This is very good news for passengers traveling from Kolkata to Abu Dhabi. The Travel Agents Federation of India or TAFI has welcomed Air Arabia’s decision to launch flights on the Kolkata-Abu Dhabi route.

TAFI Chairman (Eastern Chapter) Mr.Anil Punjabi said – Since the Covid pandemic, several airlines have started to streamline their flight services. Several airlines in India have already launched services based on their own capabilities. This time, Air Arabia is going to start its flight service on the Kolkata-Abu Dhabi route from March 15. If this service is launched, the passengers of Kolkata will benefit. Because, many passengers travel from Kolkata to Abu Dhabi.

Air Arabia will offer this service three days a week

Air Arabia will offer this service three days a week on the Kolkata-Abu Dhabi route. This service is going to start from March 15. This flight will operate in both directions on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Flight number 3L169 on Kolkata to Abu Dhabi route will depart from Kolkata at 21:05. It will reach Abu Dhabi at 1:50. Air Arabia flight number 3L168 from Abu Dhabi to Kolkata will leave at 14:25 pm and arrive in Kolkata at 20:20 pm.

Air Arabia was established on 3 February 2003 by an Emiri decree issued by Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah and Member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates, becoming the first low-cost airline. The airline commenced operations on 28 October 2003. The airline went broke even in its first year in business. In March 2014, Airbus delivered its 6000th A320 family aircraft to Air Arabia.
